Structural Graphics‘ recent Dieline Award win got us thinking about the sheer number of design miracles that regularly emanate from these dimensional marketing professionals each year. For supreme attention to detail, it’s hard to beat this piece that they crafted for medical equipment company Carestream.

Brochures are perfectly fine but when you’re trying to sell a hospital or doctor’s office on a new ultrasound system featuring an all-touch control panel, how do you beat sending them a 3D mockup of the machine itself? Not only does it have a miniature doppler on a cord that can be removed from its holder, the control panel and the monitor both pivot just as the real equipment does.
